Holding an extraordinary meeting of the council of deputies and managers of the Arak municipality at the site of the Aftab commercial complex and parking garage
According to the report of the Communications and International Affairs Department of the Arak municipality, in the late hours of last night, a meeting of the council of deputies and managers of the Arak municipality regions was held with the presence of Alireza Mahmoudi, the mayor of the metropolis of Arak, deputies, regional managers, and a number of senior managers of the municipality at the site of the Aftab commercial complex and parking garage. In this meeting, which was held to review the latest status of ongoing construction projects and to plan for their inauguration, the relevant managers provided a report on the progress of the projects and raised the existing challenges and needs. The mayor of Arak emphasized the importance of accelerating the completion of urban projects and the necessity of comprehensive coordination among different sections of the municipality to ensure timely utilization of the projects, especially on the verge of the official inauguration of the Aftab commercial complex and parking garage. He also, while appreciating the round-the-clock efforts of colleagues in the municipality, called for the continuation of this jihadist spirit until the complete realization of the defined goals in the field of urban development and services. It is worth mentioning that the Aftab commercial complex and parking garage is considered one of the most important urban projects in Arak, which will address part of the commercial and infrastructural needs of the city center upon its operation.

Report on the restoration actions of the municipality in the historical market of Arak in the year 1404
According to the report of the Communications and International Affairs Department of the Arak Municipality, the Rastin Sarai (New Sarai) is the last and newest building constructed in the late Qajar dynasty in the year 1295 solar by Haj Mirza Mohammad Ali Khan, the grandfather of Sheikh Mohammad Rastin, in two floors with a gabled roof and wooden structures. Over the years, despite being close to the market entrance and having architectural appeal, it unfortunately turned into a warehouse for new and used goods. The municipality of the historical fabric began to remove the obstruction and restore it, and due to the presence of a sewage well and an outdated sewage network, moisture up to a height of 2 meters caused damage to the walls. With the construction of a moisture drainage channel around the entire floor of the sarai, the problem was resolved, and the dilapidated walls were demolished and renovated, while the remaining surfaces were sanded and repointed. Given the complete rotting of the roofing sheet, which over time caused water to penetrate the wooden beams and their deterioration, the necessary sheets were purchased, and the restoration of its beautiful wooden structure and porch, as well as the complete replacement of the roof sheets, is on the municipality's agenda, and the lack of skilled executors according to the previous model is one of the existing problems. Completing the roofing of the Haj Bashi, Aqa'i, and Nowzari sarais, paving the market passages, one passage was executed last year, and this year the Aqa Dziad Din passage is being done, while the Molla Qasem passage is in progress, and with the participation of the municipality and the electricity department, the overhead network and electricity poles have been removed, and in the continuation, three other passages will also be paved and poles removed. The construction of six public restroom units for the Sepahdari school, the sanding and cleaning operations of the market corridor roof, as well as the signing of a contract for the restoration and strengthening of the Akbari Sarai are among the actions taken and are on the agenda for the restoration and reconstruction of the historical market of Arak in the field of the historical fabric organization.

The first meeting of the Administrative Council of the Arak Municipality in 1404
According to the report of the Communications and International Affairs Department of the Municipality, the first meeting of the Administrative Council of the Arak Municipality in 1404 was held under the chairmanship of Alireza Mahmoudi, the mayor of Arak, with the presence of municipal managers. The mayor of Arak, in this meeting, while appreciating the efforts made over the past year in the urban management system and providing honest service to citizens, said: One of the most important issues that must be prioritized in any service-providing organization is transparency and administrative integrity, as transparency in work leads to gaining the trust of citizens and increasing public oversight over the behaviors and performance of the municipality. He described transparency and administrative integrity as adhering to the principles and regulations governing the organization, considering the previously designed administrative order, and added: Municipal officials must perform their duties well for optimal productivity while maintaining administrative integrity. The mayor of Arak continued by stating that any organization for long-term success needs to maintain order within the organization and uphold work discipline, saying: Administrative order and discipline create a positive and healthy work environment and ensure the correct performance of that organization. For this reason, one of the main responsibilities of the municipality's human resources unit is to develop disciplinary guidelines and ensure that employees adhere to them. He stated in the meeting of the Administrative Council of the Municipality: The strategic plan of the municipality is a comprehensive and forward-looking plan designed for urban management and sustainable development, which specifies long-term and short-term goals through a precise analysis of the city's needs and challenges. Mahmoudi emphasized that planning in urban management, which seeks to improve the quality of life for citizens and enhance urban infrastructure, will lead to the effective implementation of plans and projects that will result in the growth and flourishing of the city. The mayor of Arak stated that the necessary mechanisms in the municipality for providing desirable and effective services to citizens have been defined under the title of the Respect and Satisfaction of Clients plan in the administrative system, adding: Given that managers and officials in the municipality have direct contact with clients, respecting and increasing their satisfaction plays a significant role in better urban management, which must be institutionalized among employees through effective communication skills training. Mahmoudi referred to the acceleration of affairs with the highest quality among employees by strengthening administrative automation systems in the municipality and said: Considering that the administrative automation system is one of the basic systems in the municipality, it must be planned in such a way that these systems can provide diverse service needs in the future in the service of the city and its citizens. In the first meeting of the Administrative Council, he referred to solidarity and synergy in the development and prosperity of the city and stated: In urban management, consensus and solidarity are always the keywords for serving citizens and developing urban affairs, and I hope this solidarity and synergy this year will lead to progress and prosperity in the implementation of more construction projects, strengthening recreational and tourism facilities, and the quantitative and qualitative development of urban services. At the end of the meeting of the Administrative Council of the Municipality, Alireza Mahmoudi, the mayor of Arak, referred to cooperation and coordination with other organizations, institutions, and agencies to improve the quality of services and added: Municipalities, due to the wide range of services provided to citizens, always need cooperation and cohesive relationships with other institutions to ultimately provide better services to citizens. Therefore, all managers of the organization are expected to achieve this important goal with complete internal and external organizational coordination.

Paving of the alleys of Sheikh al-Islam and Agha Zia al-Din in Arak's historic bazaar
The manager of the historic fabric district of Arak Municipality said: In line with preserving and maintaining the valuable historic bazaar complex and with the aim of improving the passages and alleys of the bazaar, the paving and stone-paving operations of the Sheikh al-Islam and Agha Zia al-Din alleys of this complex, from the Mohseni Street side, are underway. According to the Public Relations and International Affairs Department of Arak Municipality, Hossein Mansouri Zadeh added in announcing the news: Considering the deterioration of the asphalt in the Sheikh al-Islam and Agha Zia al-Din (second and sixth) alleys of the historic bazaar from the Mohseni Street side, and the inconsistency of the asphalt with the structure of this historic complex, the stone-paving operation of these alleys has been placed on the district's agenda. He further noted: The executive operation of stone-paving the Sheikh al-Islam alley has been completed, and the removal of the asphalt in the Agha Zia al-Din alley from the Mohseni Street side has been carried out, and with the participation of the municipality and the electricity department, the removal of the electricity poles in this alley in order to continue the substructure and stone-paving operations is underway. At the end, the manager of the historic fabric district of Arak Municipality thanked the bazaar shopkeepers and citizens for their cooperation with the municipality in carrying out construction and restoration measures in the Arak historic bazaar complex.
