Dredging canals and cleaning the historic fabric of Arak ahead of the rainy season
According to the Public Relations and International Affairs Department of the Arak Metropolitan Municipality, dredging and cleaning operations for the canals and surface channels in the area have begun. This measure, given the approaching rainy season and in order to prevent flooding, street waterlogging, and wastewater accumulation, is being carried out according to a pre-determined plan and includes cleaning and clearing covered and open cross channels, gutters, and manholes. Due to the large volume of waste in densely populated and commercial areas, cleaning of streets and water channels is carried out continuously so that no obstacle is created in directing runoff water. The report also emphasizes the need for citizen cooperation, and respected shopkeepers in the bazaar and nearby areas have been asked to refrain from dumping waste, garbage, and construction debris into the canals and to cooperate with the municipality in keeping the urban environment clean. A participatory project to clean the roof of the historic bazaar and remove blockages from gutters has also begun to prevent possible damage caused by the blockage of rainwater pathways. In conclusion, citizens have been asked to report any accumulation of waste or blockage of canals by calling the 137 system so that the municipal emergency services team can take action in the shortest possible time.

Continuation of the implementation of the organization and obstruction removal plan in Arak's historic bazaar
According to the Communications and International Affairs Department of the Arak Metropolitan Municipality, the implementation of the organization and obstruction removal plan in Arak's historic bazaar continues. Removing obstructions caused by commercial units is of particular importance for ensuring the safety, order, and welfare of citizens. For this reason, since October of this year, in cooperation with the Urban Violations Prevention Department, mobile patrol teams have issued warnings and collected the belongings of those obstructing passage, including street vendors, shopkeepers, and mobile carts. As part of this plan, with the aim of creating an orderly, safe, and attractive environment in the historic bazaar, several commercial units in the bazaar corridor area have also been sealed due to noncompliance with urban regulations and laws. The cooperation of shopkeepers and citizens in preventing motorcycles from entering and observing traffic principles is very effective in preserving the bazaar's historic identity and tranquility. The Arak Metropolitan Municipality asked citizens to report any disorder or obstruction of passage by calling the municipality's 137 hotline so that it can be followed up as soon as possible.
