Zandieh-Vakili, emphasizing the importance of organizing the urban image and landscape and preventing visual disorder across the metropolis, added: Based on the policies of this deputy office and given the sensitivity of the issue, the Facade Committee meets in a completely regular and continuous manner twice a week. The regular holding of these meetings, in addition to speeding up the process of handling citizens’ and builders’ cases, has provided a suitable platform for supervisors and experts to accurately implement Iranian and Islamic architectural patterns and modern urban planning regulations in Arak’s building facades. At the end, the Deputy for Urban Planning and Architecture of Arak Municipality noted: At the conclusion of this meeting, after discussion and exchange of views among the members, the necessary expert decisions regarding the reviewed plans were made. For some of the cases that required revisions, corrective tasks were assigned to the designers to improve the visual quality of urban streets, so that ultimately we may witness a coherent, beautiful, and harmonious facade across the city.
