In line with increasing safety and improving the lighting of recreational areas, the renovation and development of the city parks' lighting system through the installation of new lighting poles and new light towers is underway.

This measure is being carried out in response to citizens' demands and with the aim of providing proper lighting during nighttime hours. In this plan, in addition to renovating worn-out poles, the installation of tall light towers has been placed on the agenda. The new equipment, besides distributing light evenly, is energy efficient.

The city management of Arak, focusing on identifying and eliminating blind spots in parks and pedestrian paths, is pursuing the necessary groundwork for citizens to make proper use of public spaces in the late hours of the day.
