According to the Communications and International Affairs Department of the Municipality of Arak metropolis, Aghaziyarti, referring to the publication of images of a number of benches that are being kept in one of the enclosed and supervised municipal spaces, stated: the temporary storage of urban equipment and furniture that has been moved from its previous location for any reason is a completely normal matter in urban management, and keeping these items in a warehouse cannot be regarded as meaning they are unused, a waste of public funds, or mismanagement. He added: urban furniture and equipment, including benches, trash bins, urban elements, event-related equipment, and other items, may be collected from their previous location during the process of redesigning streets, implementing construction projects, changing placement, wear and tear, or organizing urban spaces. These items are kept temporarily in spaces under the municipality's control until a suitable location for reuse is determined, so that they can be used again in the city's needed areas. The Deputy for Urban Services of the Municipality of Arak emphasized that preserving and safeguarding urban assets and equipment is one of the serious duties of urban management, and stated: the fact that an urban item or piece of equipment is stored in a warehouse at a certain time does not in any way mean it has been set aside or wasted; rather, in many cases, the proper and enclosed storage of these items is itself a measure to protect public property and prevent damage or theft. Aghaziyarti continued: urban management is obliged to define appropriate placement and use for each of these items, in line with the city's needs and existing conditions, and naturally there may be a time gap between the collection of an item from one point and its reuse at another point. Referring to the need for accurate information dissemination in the field of urban management, he noted: criticism of urban management performance and citizens' demands are the natural and valuable rights of the people, and the municipality also welcomes fair and informed criticism; however, images and news in the urban sphere should be prepared and published based on study, research, awareness of implementation processes, and knowledge of the reality of the matter, not merely on the basis of a single image or incomplete narrative that can create misunderstanding in public opinion. The Deputy for Urban Services of the Municipality of Arak added: a routine and trivial action in the urban management process should not, without knowledge of the details, be presented as a sign of mismanagement and waste of public funds. Such an approach not only does not help solve the city's problems, but can also damage public trust and create distance between citizens and urban management. In conclusion, Aghaziyarti stressed: the main capital of urban management is the trust and companionship of citizens, and the Municipality of Arak considers itself committed to safeguarding public property, transparent accountability, and serving the people. It is expected that in reflecting urban issues, while preserving the right to demand accountability and criticize, the facts will also be examined and conveyed to citizens with accuracy and awareness so that correct information replaces incomplete and distortion-based narratives.
