Mission of the Urban Services Department of District 5

– Continuous monitoring and care in supervising streets and collecting sludge, waste, debris, dredging, maintenance, and cleaning of them and the waterways within the district boundaries, and implementing beautification programs within the framework of approved plans

– Taking action to maintain, develop, and expand green spaces in accordance with the existing regulations in the master plan and detailed plans

– Taking necessary action for snow removal and ensuring the cleanliness of waterways, and preventing floodwaters from flowing into streets and areas under the district's supervision

– Preserving and maintaining the existing green spaces in the district, including squares, medians, local parks, and trees along streets, in coordination with the Parks and Green Spaces Organization, within the limits of delegated approved authorities

– Following up on asphalt patch repairs on streets and premises whose maintenance has been assigned to the district, in coordination with the district's Technical and Civil Engineering Department

– Performing other assigned duties as instructed by superiors
