Mission of District 5 Manager

– Carry out all affairs and supervise all activities performed within the framework of municipal duties in the districts, in coordination with the relevant deputy departments
– Handle urban services and strive to meet the environmental needs of residents, and supervise the performance of urban services contractors in the neighborhoods and areas under supervision
– Create and maintain green spaces and parks in the district, including all parks such as large parks (regional, neighborhood, and local parks, linear green spaces, neighborhood parks, and the like)
– Prevent any activities that are contrary to municipal regulations and the provisions of the relevant clauses under Article 55 of the Municipalities Law.
– Patch asphalt on roads within the district and repair and restore bridges, curbs, medians, sidewalks, and fencing of vacant lands, and repair and maintain technical and civil structures, as well as repair buildings and public facilities located within the district
– Issue building permits, repair permits, and completion certificates, and respond to inquiries regarding properties and tradespeople in accordance with urban planning and industrial regulations within the limits of delegated approved authority
– Supervise construction operations within the district in accordance with approved regulations and directives issued by the relevant deputy departments
– Supervise administrative, employment, and financial affairs of the district based on delegated authority
– Implement executive programs related to beautification of the district and traffic geometric plans under the supervision of the relevant units in the municipal headquarters area
– Prepare the budget and take action to collect legal municipal revenues and the annual executive program, and announce the district's needs to the relevant units and follow up on providing them
– Supervise construction operations within the district in compliance with urban planning regulations and the Engineering System Law, and prevent unauthorized construction
– Perform other assigned duties according to the superior's instructions
